We encourage each person to pray for Israel and its neighbors on a daily basis. Education – Word of Life International Church hosts Annual Tours to the Holy Land and the Nazareth Village Study Center. TOUR OF HOLY LAND – March 23 – 30, 2009 For more information go to www.wolag.org Advocacy –The Bible tells us to defend the weak and take a stand for victims of injustice. We partner with Calev Myers and Jerusalem Institute for Justice to defend the rights of both Christian Jews and Arabs. Further, we hope to open supply lines between America and the poor living in Israel. For example, we are working to repeal the VAT so that Convoy of Hope and other partners can import food, clothing, vitamins, and school supplies to the poor without the heavy taxation. Compassion – our partner Convoy of Hope is poised to establish a Distribution Center and trucks in Israel as soon as we can get proper clearance and raise the necessary budget. Additionally, Word of Life has provided school supplies and backpacks to disadvantaged children living in Israel and the Gaza region. Economic Development – It is imperative that we find ways to financially support Christian Jews and Arabs in places like Bethlehem with job creation and export. For starters we encourage you to purchase gifts and souvenirs from the Holy Land at www.treasuresofholyland.com .
